LANDSCAPE FLORAL DESIGN & PAINTING RETREAT:
A serene day filled with Exploration, Floral design and Botanical painting.
Join award winning artists, Trisha Locke, AIFD and Nicole Monahan for a 6 hour workshop in a lovely woodland setting. Trisha will teach you about plant materials, and how to use them to create a landscape floral design. You will get the opportunity to walk around the beautiful forest and gardens to collect plant materials to create your own floral arrangement incorporating natural elements. In the afternoon, the expert instruction will continue with Nicole, who will explain various techniques and approaches for painting florals on canvas. Use your landscape floral design as an inspiration for a painting created by you!
Trisha and Nicole have many years of teaching experience to help you successfully complete your projects. This workshop will help you energize your creative side and have fun in a serene environment. At the end of the day, you’ll have two pieces of nature-inspired art to take home.
We’ll help you reduce your stress, calm your spirit, and feed your artistic soul.
Share this experience with someone you love and encourage a friend or family member to sign up, too!
We will have light snacks and beverages available throughout the day, please let us know if you have specific food allergies. There will be a 30 minute lunch break. Please bring your lunch.
Activities will be held outdoors with some walking on uneven terrain near a creek and woods. Please prepare accordingly. There is indoor space available if needed due to inclement weather.
