Each year I create a new illustration for the Lunar New Year.
It is so fun to do the research into the meaning of the animal each year and to transform that onto an illustration where the animal from the past year is taking a back seat and the incoming animal is getting ready for the year. I started these Illustrations during the rooster year. So far there are two roosters, dog, pig, rat, ox, and now tiger. The panda is in each illustration to interact with the animals and help them out.
