It is so fun each fall meeting all the new students, reconnecting with students who take a break over the summer and getting back into the swing of regular weekly classes abandoning the randomness of summer. This is a project I have been working on with a private student. We usually paint with acrylics in her lessons, but she also loves to draw and the softness of pan pastel. Now that we are done with this one, she wants to continue learning pan pastel, so that is what we will do!
