The year of the bull starts tomorrow and I think the bull will be a welcome change in 2021. It will be a year of hard work through positivity and honesty. It will be slow and soft, passive yet with stability. Thankfully, it is a year of nourishment. Much needed after 2020.
Every year for the past several years I have done an illustration for the Chinese New Year. Last year I actually was busy with a book deadline so could not do my chinese new year illustration. Well we all know how 2020 turned out. Over the summer, one of my very young students told me maybe 2020 was so bad because I did not do my Rat Illustration. So this year, I made sure to take the time to do one!
